Greenscape Inc. partners with vitalink to keep area homeless warm
Holly Springs, NC – Once again this year Greenscape Inc. is collecting new and gently used coats, blankets, hats and mittens for the vitalink® Coats & Blankets drive to benefit Raleigh Rescue Mission. The drive will take place from November 1 through November 30, 2014.
“We encourage everyone to get outdoors and play,” says Daniel Currin, President of Greenscape Inc. “Unfortunately, for kids in the Triangle area who don’t have coats, hats and mittens, going outdoors in the cold weather is a hard sell and may even be dangerous. To help address the challenge, the Green Team will once again be collecting coats, hats, gloves and blankets for Raleigh Rescue Mission. We want kids and families to enjoy the outdoors and not be stuck inside simply because they don’t have a coat.”
This is the third year Greenscape has included the vitalink Coats & Blankets drive in its community outreach efforts. Greenscape and Weed Man customers wishing to donate coats, blankets, cold weather gear or make financial donations should speak to their customer relations manager, call 919.552.7742 or email us. Coats, hats and gloves of all sizes are needed. Financial donations are also welcome (checks payable to Raleigh Rescue Mission or pay online at www.changingliveshere.org.) If you do not live in the Triangle area, Greenscape encourages you to donate to your local homeless shelter or coat drive.
