Company News : Greenscape Inc. Wins Regency Centers Bid

Holly Springs, NC -Greenscape Inc. has been selected to handle all commercial landscape installation efforts for Regency Centers' renovation of its Carmel Commons shopping center in south Charlotte. The work will begin next week and should be complete by the end of March. This is the fifth landscape job that Greenscape has handled for Regency Centers.

"We always enjoy working with the team at Regency Centers," says Daniel Currin, President of Greenscape. "They are great people-very professional-and heavily involved with community redevelopment." The job was sold by Green Team member Leslie Herndon and designed by Adam Southwell. It will be managed by Keith Updyke in Raleigh and Nathan Beasley onsite in Charlotte.

Regency Centers owns and operates more than 360 community shopping centers around the country, and is focused on maintaining quality centers in top markets with top-of-line retailers. The firm is committed to green building and maintenance practices, including those related to landscape design and smart irrigation.

Company News : Adam Southwell of Greenscape Inc. Passes the Test

Holly Springs, NC - Daniel Currin, President of Greenscape Inc. (www.greenscapeinc.com) today congratulated Green Team member Adam Southwell for being approved by the North Carolina Board of Landscape Architects to be a Registered Landscape Architect in the state. Minimum requirements include a specified course curriculum, least four years of industry experience and the successful completion the L.A.R.E. national exam.

"I've been working toward becoming a landscape architect for the past eight years," says Southwell. "I have received a lot of support from my team members here at Greenscape and am excited to have passed the Landscape Architect Registration Exam and met the requirements to be called a landscape architect." North Carolina requires landscape architects to be registered and certified to practice, with ongoing education requirements and mandatory annual license renewal.

"Greenscape has always been very focused on education," say Currin. "In addition to providing internal training on landscape-related topics, we encourage all Green Team members to pursue outside professional development opportunities. Becoming recognized in N.C. as a landscape architect involves a lot of effort. We congratulate Adam on this tremendous personal and professional accomplishment."

The North Carolina Board of Landscape Architects was established by legislation in 1969 to register professional landscape architects with the intent of protecting public health, safety and welfare. The Board oversees licensing and enforces a Code of Conduct for all members.

They are Jose Castillo (Landscape Installation Foreman), Evan Barrows (Client Relations Manager) and Michelle Garcia Hill (Customer Service Representative).

"Our busy season is coming up quickly and we are working to ensure we are fully staffed to meet client demand," say Currin. "Evan Barrows joins the Green Team with 18+ years of experience as an award-winning landscape operations manager. Jose Castillo has 10+ years of hardscape experience and great leadership skills. Company News : Greenscape Inc adds 4 Commercial Clients

Holly Springs, NC - Greenscape Inc. president Daniel Currin announced today that Greenscape recently signed contracts with four area homeowner's associations to handle their commercial landscape maintenance needs. These include Shepherds Vineyard in Apex, Weatherstone in Cary and two sub-associations within Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh: Village of St. Andrews and Village of Cypress Point.

"We're excited to start 2012 with these HOAs as new clients," say Currin.
