Greenscape provides a comprehensive training program for all our employees. The training program is designed to improve the quality of work, provide professional development, and to get everyone familiar with standard work. We pride ourselves with providing everyone with the following:
-
New Employee Orientation- Orientation is covered on the first day and it involves four phases. Orientation is structured and designed to smoothly transition and inform new employees on our history, policies and procedures, safety, daily work procedures, and facilities.
-
Basic Training- All employees will undergo a period of "Basic Training" in which you will become familiar with our culture, standard works, and routines. During this period you will review and perform all the core processes that will make an acceptable crewmember (at least crew level 1). By running all employees through the basic program, we can verify skills and assess them for proficiency. The processes in the basic training program are based on our current crew competency plan.
-
Foreman/Technician Training- This training is designed to provide all foreman and technicians with the unique skills that they will need in order to effectively work. Training is done in a modular format and will cover topics essential to your success in situations with employees and customers. Employees will undergo training in subjects such as roles of foremen and technicians, how to motivate, communication, working smarter, and customer service.
-
Weekly Training- We have compiled a forty-nine week training program with the suggestions of the managers and foremen. These topics will provide both instructional periods, and hands on applications. All sessions will be covered through our standard work procedures, and are used as constant refreshers for work that is critical to our operations. All topics, if done according to standard work, are expected to reduce the amount of rework and warranty work. .
-
Crew competency program- The crew competency program has been created in order to develop employees professionally. The program clearly defines what steps, skills, and behaviors must be achieved in order to climb through the skill levels. This program is essential in creating future managers and leaders that have shown an interest in their professional development. As an employee, this gives you a way to empower your career development, by learning new skills, techniques, and equipment. This is a tool for tracking achievements and in no way warrants a guaranteed position or pay.
