Design Philosophy: My philosophy is listening to the customer's needs in order to design a space that transforms vision into reality and integrates pleasing aesthetics with sound form, function, elegance, and grace.

How long in business: 11+ years.

Favorite Project: My favorite project thus far has been the Ayscue project. Greenscape designed, built and currently manages the property. This project was so enjoyable because I was able to see passion come to life in landscape. We solved the problems using budget, scope, and scape on a large property through communication and built a great relationship with the client. Through the use of hardscape, softscape, and lighting we developed an escape they experience daily.

Why I enjoy working at Greenscape: We are a multifaceted company guided by strong leadership and trained horticulturists that can create a design and execute the creation using sound practices that will ensure exceptional quality services. We try to exceed our customers’ expectations no matter the job or what it entails.

Message to my customers: My desire is to build a personal relationship with you and your family. I will keep communication open throughout the project to ensure that your dream becomes a reality. I would like to be the only person you desire to help your family and friends should the need arise. I want the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

Education: Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Design and Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown Pa.

How long in the Field: I grew up on a Public Garden Outside of Philadelphia and started filling holes at a local nursery at 14. I have worked in design for the past 12 years in the Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Triangle Regions.

Design Philosophy: To work with my clients to develop a concept that exceeds their expectations while carefully tailoring the plan to meet both the budget constraints as well as properly blending the plan into the surrounding landscape. I strongly value client interaction and like feedback from my clients at all times through the process.

Favorite Project: Recently I was selected by a client to create an estate garden at his property. I have worked through this project from concept through all the permits and as the construction progresses we meet frequently to go over the details and additional ideas the installation of this project has created for the future growth of his estate. I enjoy educating people on the ideas and landscape features that can bring them joy for years to come.

What brought me to Greenscape: As a landscape designer by trade I know my ideas and what I convey to my clients are only as good as the vision and completion of the install team, after searching much of the east coast Greenscape exceeded my expectations. Greenscape's desire to hire, train, and adapt to the growing triangle region gives me the confidence that they will provide not only me with the support I need to better serve you, but you the client the best service around.

A message to my customers and future clients: I look forward to working through the project with you from start to finish, developing a relationship in which we are able to freely communicate about the project. I look forward to your feedback throughout the process as I constantly strive to improve. At the completion of the project you are my best asset I will continue to work with you to determine the best for your new space and hope that you will be so impressed I will become a household name.

Of other interest: I was selected to be the Designer on an episode of HGTV's "Curb Appeal" Program, this lead to me creating a design for a second episode later that season. I also have had several designs featured in Washington Home and Garden and Washington Home and Design, and have contributed to various garden articles in several other Washington magazines and papers.

Awards and Training: Won Best Design at Washington Home and Garden Show in 2008, the exhibit that year won best in show. Have also completed Green Roof Certification Class.

In the Community: Donated time and created design for the installation of a native reforestation project a local park in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
